A perfect side dish to add to your roast dinner, simple and easy – you’ll never have boiled carrots again!

What you need:

Carrots chopped into batons or rounds

Juice of one orange

Slathering of butter

Thyme

Salt and pepper

Throw all of the ingredients into a roasting pan and get them in the Traeger.  I love these throw away pans so much easier when it comes to washing up.

You can keep your carrots on until they reach the grill profile which you prefer.  We gave ours a good hour so they were slightly browned but retained the carrot flavour of a roast dinner and not a barbecue.

 

This is a whole new way to love your veg people with that orangey buttery sauce.  Our guests were raving about the carrots over the meat!
