Everyone loves their roasted spuds but if you REALLY want to wow your guess why don’t you give these potato roses a go?

Not only do they deliver that roast dinner potatoey goodness but they are also wrapped in BACON.  Still not sold??  How about that they are SUPER EASY to make but come out so pretty that they may just make you look like some kind of culinary genius!

Personally I was sold when I heard the word bacon.

What you need:

Olive oil

Rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper

Bacon (streaky works best but you can make whatever you have work)

This medium sized potato is perfect.  Use the slicer side of your grater to slice the potatoes into rounds and put into a mixing bowl…
Coat with the olive oil, herbs and seasoning and give it a mix up.
Lay out two pieces of bacon into one long strip, like soooooo
Lay a line of potatoes on top of the bacon
Roll the potatoes up from one end to the other

Secure with a cocktail stick or two to hold together whilst they are cooking.  These take about the same length of time both on the wood pellet grill and the oven as your normal roast potato – about half an hour to 40 minutes
Bosh.  Bacon roses.  Go on grillers.  Impress your guests with a bit of finess… we’re not just meat heads after all.
