Ingredients

  • 400 g beef mince high fat content 20% if possible
  • 4 rashers bacon
  • 2 slices burger cheese
  • 1 large potato
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 brioche burger buns
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to 200C.

  2. Make your burger patties by dividing the mince into two balls of 200g each seasoned with salt and pepper. Press with a burger press.

  3. Wash and peel the potato then grate with a box grater. Squeeze as much juice out of the potato as possible.

  4. Use the burger press to create two thin hash brown patties from the gated potato. (Don'y forget to rinse it after the mince you filthy animals!)

  5. Get your burger, bacon and hash brown on the grill on direct heat. Grill for approximately four minutes per side. Place the cheese on top of the burgers for the last minute to melt. Probe your burgers to ensure they are fully cooked (55C).

  6. Crack the eggs on a plancher as you build your burger as they will only take approximately 2 minutesto cook. Place your bun, then burger, hashbrown, bacon and finally add the egg and any sauce you fancy.

  7. Top with the burger bun and get sloppy!
