Without doubt my absolute favourite accompaniment to steak is chimichurri. It is the perfect combination of fresh, spicy and punchy flavours that get me. Forget your mushroom and your Diane, get involved with this Argentinian specialty - you won't regret that you did.

Ingredients
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 20 g chopped parsley
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 red chili deseeded and finely chopped
- 3/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- pepper to taste
Instructions

Deseed the chillies and finely chop them.

Finely mince the garlic and parsley, then place everything in a bowl with the remaining ingredients.

Stir thoroughly until well combined, ensuring all the flavours are evenly distributed.
