Ingredients
  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
For the toffee crumble:
  • 1 x Crunchie bar or cinder toffee, crushed
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt flakes
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill to 200°c and set up for two zone cooking.
  2. Toss the wings in olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Place the wings on indirect heat and bring to temperature until golden and crisp – around 30–40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 75°C and to your liking for crispiness.
  4. Place the steaming hot wings in a bowl and squirt plenty of BBQ sauce. Toss to fully coat the wings.
  5. Place the wings back on direct heat until sticky and slightly charred and them remove and plate.
While still hot, sprinkle with crushed Crunchie bar or cinder toffee. Add a pinch of sea salt for balance.
  6. Serve hot and sticky with napkins and fireworks.
