ROAST BEEF MOIST MAKER SANDWICH
You may remember Ross Geller from friends and his leftover thanksgiving turkey moist maker sandwich. Well when I found myself with some leftover roast beef and gravy from my Sunday Roast it got me to thinking... why not accelerate the roast beef sarnie to a new level!
By the way, obviously I am biased, but I accidentally found the perfect addition to roast beef gravy is a tablespoon of Ranch Multi Purpose rub when in my tiredness of looking after a newborn had me adding this instead of the usual salt and pepper. A very happy accident indeed!
Ingredients
- 3 slices thick white bread
- 200 g roast beef
- 2 tbsp gravy
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- sliced gherkins
Instructions
-
Create cheese on toast on two slices of bread by placing under the grill until the cheese has melted.
-
whilst waiting for the cheese on toast, heat the beef and gravy either on the hob or in the microwave.
-
spead or dip the third slice of bread, covering completely in gravy.
-
build your sandwich:
-cheese on toast at the bottom, cheese side up
-add half the beef, top with gherkins
-add the "moist maker" gravy bread
-add half the beef, top with gherkins
-top with cheese on toast, cheese side down.

Cut your sandwich in half and prepare to get messy!!
