MEAT DUST CHILLI

This is a super simple chilli recipe with my secret super power- butter beans. They are a game changer. We also use the fattiest meat available as in this house, fat is flavour!

Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Jack's Meat Dust Multi Purpose Seasoning
  • 500 g 20% fat minced beef
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 150 ml cold water
  • 400 g can chopped tomatoes
  • 400 g butter beans

Instructions

  1. Brown the onions in a cast iron pan. Once golden add the mince and cook until just browned.
  2. Add the Meat Dust, tinned tomatoes and butter beans.
  3. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
  4. Serve with rice and top with cheese and/or soured cream.
